Getting Ready For Graduation!

Students from WWCHS attended the Georgia High School-High Tech Awards Luncheon at the Augusta Marriott on April 17, 2014.  The Georgia High School-High Tech program is a community-based program that provides qualifying youth a link to academic and career development experiences that enable them to meet the workforce demands of the 21st century.  Many opportunities for these youth who are interested in work or post-secondary education are provided through this program.  Colleges, Technical Schools, and many possible job locations are visited throughout the year.  These particular students wrote a paper or constructed a power point explaining how a personal laptop computer would help them complete their high school career or move on into post secondary education or the job force.  The WWCHS students who were awarded a laptop include:  Caleb Broome, Chandra Davis, Latisha Davis, and Alana Kemp
